// My stack

What this site runs on.

People ask what the studio is built with. This is the honest list — the tools in the pipeline today, and what each one is for.

// Disclosure

Every link on this page is a plain link to the product's own site. I don't currently earn affiliate commissions from any of them. If that ever changes, the affected links will be marked as affiliate links here first — before they change anywhere else. I make money from consulting and sponsors, both disclosed on their own pages.

▸ The models

Claude · Anthropic ↗

The agents in the studio run on Claude. Drafting, critique, and triage all go through it, behind the human approval gates you see in the build log.

▸ Hosting & deploys

Vercel ↗

This site ships through Vercel. Every branch gets a preview deployment, which is how changes get checked before they merge.

▸ Database & auth

Supabase ↗

Postgres under the essays, subscribers, and form data. If you are on the email list, your address lives here — see the privacy policy for how it is handled.

▸ Email delivery

Resend ↗

Sends the welcome email and essay notifications. Chosen because the templates live in code, next to everything else.

▸ Observability

Datadog ↗

Error and performance monitoring. When something on this site breaks, this is usually how I find out first.

▸ Programmatic video

Remotion ↗

Video rendered from code — the same components-everywhere approach as the rest of the studio, applied to motion.

▸ Avatar video

HeyGen ↗

Part of the video pipeline experiments in the studio. Used where a presenter-style clip is the honest fit, and labeled when it appears.

▸ Cloud infrastructure

AWS ↗

Not the default here — Vercel and Supabase carry this site. AWS is in the stack for the pieces and experiments that need cloud primitives the default stack does not offer.
