ReadyTogether
Can we still make lunch happen?
You’re planning lunch for 24 neighbors. Maya cannot come. Your supply budget drops to $30. Jordan will be late. ReadyTogether checks who can cover each job, at what time and for what price. You choose a plan. Then each helper still gets to say yes or no.
Start the guided demo →A synthetic demonstration. People, prices and event details are fictional. This is an Alexa+ simulation: click a sample request as if asking Alexa for help. Alexa is not connected, and the replies use supported commands rather than a general AI conversation. It does not send messages, make purchases or verify a volunteer’s consent. Use the sample scenarios; do not enter personal information.
See what happens when plans change.
Change the facts
Meet the three helpers and their jobs. Tell the demo Maya cancelled and you only have $30.
Compare the repairs
Tell the demo Jordan arrives at 10:45 AM. See why another helper must set up before he gets there.
Decide, then confirm
Choose a fix, then try pretend replies from the helpers. Choosing a plan does not make anyone say yes.
If the constraints cannot be met, the demo says so. A smaller budget does not remove help for guests entering without stairs, chairs away from the noise, or cards showing what is in each dish.
A practical response to coordination friction.
Research on volunteering points to fragmented tools and the value of flexibility. Accessible-event guidance also emphasizes preparation and informed volunteers. ReadyTogether brings those concerns into one small planning exercise.
Read the research and its limits →What this prototype establishes
- The guided story shows the problem, rules, two possible fixes and the result.
- Organizer approval and simulated volunteer acceptance are separate decisions.
- Infeasible constraints produce a visible blocker.
No field study, measured time savings or accessibility compliance outcome has been established. The demo plan is saved for seven days; reset it at any time.
